Participation in a valid examination program such as LCME Exams it is recommended not only for those who aim to work professionally in music, but also for students of any age who want to follow a recognized educational program with a beginning, middle and end.
To those students who want to certify their knowledge by participating in the exams of University of West London – London College of Music and get a University degree with International Recognition, special preparation is done for all parts of the exam. The exams concern both electric and acoustic guitar as well as modern theory (Popular Music Theory).
After obtaining the Grades, we can continue together in the Diplomas offered by UWL and more specifically the following:
♦ Diploma of the London College of Music (DipLCM)
♦ Associate of the London College of Music (ALCM)
♦ Licentiate of the London College of Music (LLCM)
♦ Fellow of the London College of Music (FLCM)
The University of West London it is recognized by all the official bodies ie the Ofqual, the DfES (Wales) and the CCEA (North Ireland). The levels and size of each certification are defined by the Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF).

In addition, all of the above now belong to a wider European framework called Europoean Qualifications Framework (EQF). All diplomas of the UWL have now been classified and assigned to the appropriate levels of EQF.
